Guide to Creating a Free Word Cloud for PowerPoint

I. Preparation:

Software:

  • Microsoft PowerPoint (version 2010 or later)

  • EdWordle Add-in (free)

II. Creating the Free Word Cloud for PowerPoint:

1. Installing EdWordle:

  • Open PowerPoint.

  • Select the Insert tab.

  • Go to the Add-ins group.

  • Choose Get Add-ins.

  • Search for EdWordle.

  • Select Add.

2. Generating the Free Word Cloud for PowerPoint:

  • Click on the EdWordle tab.

  • In the Create group, click on Word Cloud.

  • Enter the list of words or text into the dialog box.

  • Click OK.

III. Customizing the Word Cloud:

Font:

  • Click on the EdWordle tab.

  • In the Format group, click on Font.

  • Change the font, font size, and color.

Layout:

  • Click on the EdWordle tab.

  • In the Format group, click on Layout.

  • Change the layout and shape of the Word Cloud.

Colors:

  • Click on the EdWordle tab.

  • In the Format group, click on Colors.

  • Change the background color and color of the words.

IV. Saving the Free Word Cloud for PowerPoint:

  • Click on the EdWordle tab.

  • In the Export group, click on Save as Image.

  • Save the Word Cloud image file.
